Mission Summary for Oct 12, 2004

The Citation flew a satellite/test flight mission.
The Proteus departed Fairbanks at approximately 1200 local time for a transit to Barrow. At Barrow, the Proteus flew racetrack patterns for approximately 30 minutes and also was aligned for the 1403 Aqua overpass and the 1419 Aura overpass. After the Aura overpass, the Proteus departed for Oliktok and arrived at approximately 1500. It flew racetrack patterns directly over Oliktok for approximately 1 hour, the last 40 minutes in coordination with the UND Citation that flew between cloud bases of 1600 feet and tops of 3200 feet. The Proteus left Oliktok at 1600 to return to Fairbanks. All science legs were completed with the Proteus at approximately 42000 feet.
