    Mission Summary for Dec 02, 2003

    This mission was in support of ATReC and consisted of flying due south of St. John's, releasing dropsondes from between 47 degrees North to 41.5 degrees North and flew from that point to Halifax, with continued sonde releases. The Citation took off from St. John's at 1453Z and dropped the first sonde at 1515Z. All drops were made from an altitude of 27,000 ft. The southernmost point was reached at 1644Z, with the 8th sonde of the mission being released at that point. The last sonde was released on the way to Halifax at 1841Z with the release of sonde number 14 at N44.3 degrees, W61.5 degrees. The Citation landed in Halifax at 1913Z. The second flight of the day consisted of a ferry flight back to St. John's for another planned mission out of St. John's on the following day. The Citation took off from Halifax at 2256Z and landed in St. John's at 0032Z (on the 3rd of December, UTC).
